How it works: The Quiver Killer stands as one of our most successful and beloved surfboard models of all time, with strong popularity worldwide. It was among the first modern hybrid designs created to perform across an exceptionally wide range of conditions, from soft 2-foot waves to hollow 6-foot surf. As an early adopter of a 5-fin setup, it offers fin versatility that allows the board to be tuned for virtually any wave size or type.

True to its name, the Quiver Killer is designed to function as a genuine one-board quiver. Its forward-oriented outline and relatively wide nose generate excellent forward drive, both while paddling and once standing. Speed and momentum come naturally. The ample width combined with a continuous outline curve and a moderately pulled-in rounded pin tail provide lift in smaller waves, while also delivering controlled speed, precise turning, and confident carving in more powerful surf. A moderate nose rocker complements the forward width, helping the board engage smoothly into turns while maintaining forward momentum.

With a lower tail rocker, the board remains fast and responsive, emphasizing drive. A clean concave paired with sufficient rail rocker allows the board to turn smoothly under the back foot without feeling stiff or restrictive. Time and again, this compact board has proven its ability to perform in all conditions, under the feet of both local surfers and travelers around the globe.

For many years, the design remained unchanged, aside from resizing for custom orders, as retailers gradually phased it out in favor of newer models. Amid the steady release of updated designs, the Quiver Killer slowly faded from the spotlight, limited mostly to custom builds and a handful of shops that continued to recognize its value. Now, we believe it’s the right moment to reintroduce some of our standout past models and give them a refined update. With the advancements in construction and technology developed over the last five years, bringing classics like the Quiver Killer into modern materials and ride characteristics feels like a natural progression.

This is not a complete redesign or major overhaul that would warrant a new name or extensive R&D. Instead, the approach was a clean and straightforward “Digital Re-Master” of the original CAD files, which simply needed refinement. Staying true to the original design, each size was carefully re-mastered, polishing the files for cleaner cuts and improved finish. The dimensions and core design details remain faithful to the original, while subtle curve refinements improve shaping efficiency, manufacturing consistency, and overall ride quality.

In addition to the digitally re-mastered files, the branding was updated to reflect a more contemporary aesthetic. A refreshed visual package was developed, featuring understated, stylish colors and smaller, refined logos—completing the revival in a polished and cohesive way.
