The Re-Generation Era started for us more than 13 years ago through WE Sustainability with the objective and challenge of walking towards Re-Generation through beach cleanups, workshops on environmental impact, talks, regenerative events and especially through social volunteering.

Since 2005 our purpose and commitment has been to AWARE and ACT.

ECOLOGICAL ACTIVISM

We promote beach, harbor and river cleanups.

Every week we organize a beach cleanup, changing location to cover different areas of our coastline.

Over the past 13 years we have seen how the cleanups have helped participants reflect and rethink their routine and their way of consuming.

CLEANING, SEPARATION, ANALYSIS AND QUANTIFICATION OF WASTES

After a beach cleanup, it is very important to quantify and separate the waste in order to have data for statistics regarding the volume and type of waste collected.

The data is usually very impressive and the attendees like to know and really know everything that is collected.

WORKSHOPS ON ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVISM

The workshops are another awareness-raising method that has an impact and highlights the value of all the work behind each handcrafted product. They are an exercise in reflection, as participants enjoy creative days while at the same time internalizing sustainable concepts, which once put into practice contribute to reducing emissions and waste generated.

EXHIBITIONS & ART

Artists have always shown an interest in listening to nature, in observing the natural world around them. But can art really change the world?

One of the reasons for the existence of art is to provoke reflection on what the works of art can do and therefore have an impact on people.

SOCIAL ACTIVISM

Social activism is based on the number of impacts needed on people so that people have less impact on the environment.

REGENERATIVE EVENTS

Sporting and musical events are a key point in our task of awareness and action, since we can develop our events as usual, but including the Sustainability part as something fun, educational and coherent.

A CASA NO ALTO. ART FROM THE SEA

The "Centro de Interpretación de Arte do Mar A Casa no Alto" arises from the close collaboration of two environmental organizations in the province of A Coruña: Mar de Fábula, based in Camelle (Costa da Morte) and We Sustainability, based in the city of A Coruña. Both groups share the defense of a healthy marine environment and for years they have been jointly participating in beach cleanups, exhibitions and environmental workshops throughout the province of A Coruña. "A Casa no Alto" is the result of the efforts of both organizations to offer a space where to deepen the environmental claim through the different languages available. At the head of this project is Pablo López, visual artist associated with the activity of Mar de Fábula, and together, we want to present this initiative.
