WHO ARE WE?
"Centro de Interpretación de Arte do Mar A Casa no Alto" arises from the close collaboration of two environmental organizations in the province of A Coruña: Mar de Fábula, based in Camelle (Costa da Morte) and We Sustainability, based in the city of A Coruña.
Both groups share the defense of a healthy marine environment and for years they have been jointly participating in beach cleanups, exhibitions and environmental workshops throughout the province of A Coruña.
"A Casa no Alto" is the result of the efforts of both organizations and Pablo López, a plastic artist associated with the activity of Mar de Fábula to offer a space where to deepen the environmental claim through the various languages available.
WHAT IS IT CASA NO ALTO?
"A Casa no Alto" arises from the desire to provide a space where emerging creatives can develop their creative project in relation to the environment and its circumstances (economic, patrimonial, environmental, social...).
To this end, we have opened a house-workshop in the center of the town of Camelle fully available for young artists and emerging creatives of age (both individuals and groups) of all disciplines (visual art, sound, performance, dance, literature, pedagogy, philosophy, engineering, scientific disciplines ...) can reside temporarily in it with the intention of carrying out experimental practices in the environment in which we find ourselves.
